November 19,2011, Troop 1717 went to the Peak Experience's indoor rock climbing faculity in Richmond, VA for an overnighter lockin. There were about 20 scouts and 6 adults. Mr. Brown and Ben S. passed the belayer's test so they could belay by themselves (up till 1 AM as Peak's rule is to have a backup after then). Mr . Darron and Henry had their certification. Also. Thomas Darron joined the group. Mrs. Darron took the pictures in this album. Several boys took "Know the ropes" class so they could be belayers with a backup person. Everyone had a good time. Around 4 AM, all drivers and a most kids went to sleep. We got up at 6 and out the building by 7 AM.
