Camp Daniel Boone Summer Camp 2011 Photo Album

This year, Troop 1717 underwent a nine hour expedition to Camp Daniel Boone near Asheville, North Carolina nestled in the Smokey Mountains. The weather was great, 60s at night and 80s during the day. The troop had been there 6 years ago. Everyone had a great time and we got to stay in their new campsites with brand new tents and small cabins with 4 bunk beds! Their rock wall for Climbing merit badge was neat as they built it with real rocks embedded into concrete at differering depths and sizes.
